Drag? Autocross? Road? Endurance? If it goes fast and is competitive, here's the place for it.

I've got mine. I'm not coming. I'll say it up front and then if by some miracle I actually get to go we will all be surprised.

I understand the rain they've fought the past few years might be the decision for July but, whew! I bet it will be hot.

If I go it will probably be with the G8. We are tentatively planning on going to the GTOAA convention in Witchita, which is over the 4th of July weekend, so I may not have a kitchen pass built up for Tulsa. If we don't go to Witchita, I will have a better chance at going Tulsa (though it still will likely be the G8 due to the heat).

LOL...

Bunch of old hen pecked.....men around here...I feel right at home...

July is busy so it will be a last minute deal for me if I do ...I hope they have a good turn out no matter. I sometimes wonder if pontiac events will dry up even more now that the division is dead at GM...

Just bringing this back up... I haven't been to Tulsa racing yet this year so will probably be my first 1/4 mile race of the season. Hope to see some of you there...

I wish I could but it's not in the cards this year. I didn't go to PSN either. Too much going on with the family this year to make time for car events. I'm sure they'll do well.

You guys missed a hot one! It was 100 degrees air temp at the track with a real feel of 111... My car ran pretty well with the 87 cc Pump Gas engine in it and I ran in the Beat the Tiger program put on by Jim Wangers and "Biginjun" Dave Anderson. They came to Tulsa last yr and won all 3 rounds against 3 different competitors and this yr I was asked by Larry Crider of the Indian Nations POCI if I would like to give him a shot so I said sure... We ran about 2:30 in the afternoon and it was a scorcher. I was dialed a bit quicker than the 505 powered Tiger so I was chaser... the lights came down, he launched and then my lights came on and the spinning began :( I figured no way was I gonna catch him but my car caught traction in about 20 feet and I started catching him, at about 1000 ft I had him and womped him twice at the stripe for a solid win. He treed me and ran 1/10th off his dial but I only ran .004 off of my dial... I had beat'n the Tiger crackwhip

I wondered if you guys had the same heat we had yesterday. I know that had to be miserable but I'm sure beating the Tiger made up for it. Congrats.

Cool beans beating Big Injun Dave. He's a great guy and they have a great program, but it's still good to see that someone can beat him once in awhile.

Looks like your pump gas motor had quite a bit of bite to it to run a 10.36 in the heat!
