Well, I finally got the G8 out there today. As expected, it had plenty of power but the driver wasn't able to tame it well enough. The struts are a bit soft for that group but it was fun to take it to it's limit of adhesion...yes I got a little loose but other than inadvertantly turning on the wipers while trying to recover on the slalom,

I didn't get too out of shape.
Ryan was out there abusing the tires on his SVO and I met another guy from UofA that had a pretty mean Black 4th gen T/A.
There were some fast cars - the usuals the wicked black Z06, the yellow Porche Carerra, the 914, etc, but I was surprised to see a Cobalt SS run VERY close to that Z06, and while I knew that the EVO that a friend of mine has was fast, it too was near the top and was amazing to watch as he hit the 1-2 shift.
With around 90 drivers there, the program was taking too long, so I split at half time again, which was about 3:30 PM! I couldn't stick around to the estimated 7:30 or later to finish as we took Eric's out for his B-day meal (since I'll be working on Tue, his real B-day)
